As you know, Flemings Mayfair is a fan of both afternoon teas and celebrating the much anticipated upcoming Royal Wedding so we thought we’d make a feast out of it – quite literally – with the ‘Royal Bejeweled Afternoon Tea’.

Designed to glitter like the crown jewels, the tea stand provides a selection of delicious morsels, including petit fours, elderflower and lemon tarts, champagne and gold leaf truffles, rose and honey Madeline’s, mini rhubarb fool with shortbread biscuits, jeweled lavender cupcakes, lemon scones with strawberry and rose jelly, a glittering Victoria sponge as well as cucumber, coronation chicken, smoked salmon and roast beef & mustard sandwiches.
The Royal Bejeweled Afternoon Tea is perfectly washed down with Fortnum and Mason’s Royal Blend Tea – first plended for King Edward VII in the summer of 1902.
