Next week sees the inaugural Sundance London taking place at The 02 Arena. Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute is taking its show on the road to present fourteen of the best films from the Sundance Film Festival to UK audiences for the first time. Held every January in Utah, the Sundance Film Festival is one of the largest independent and highly regarded film festivals in the world.
The four-day London festival (Thursday 26 – Sunday 29 April) will feature back to back film screenings, with filmmakers in attendance for live Q&A sessions with the audience following each screening. It will also feature an array of exciting musical acts including Rufus and Martha Wainwright, as well as a number of panel discussions about the major issues facing independent film on both sides of the Atlantic.
