With The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations just around the corner, the whole team at Flemings are getting extremely excited about the festivities.
We caught up with Flemings’ Guest Services Director Branca Sabbagh, to find out why she is especially excited about the upcoming event.
Are you excited for the Diamond Jubilee?
This is a very exciting time for me. I was born in December 1951 and Christened in1952 around the Queen’s Coronation. For me this is memorable as my whole existence is as long as Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. I remember celebrating with a street party in 1977 but 2012 will be bigger and better, I can’t wait.
How will you celebrate the event?
I am looking forward to the lobby party in the hotel where we will celebrate with our guests and I will also have personal celebrations with family and friends over the Diamond Jubilee weekend, for my sixty years of amazing life.
Will the hotel be offering its guests anything special over the period?
We will be celebrating in style with the Flemings take on the Diamond Jubilee street party. All our guests, both in-house, and local residents are welcome. We will be serving fish and chips, cakes, and canapés in our lobby. Come and join us!
