With only one week to go until the spookiest day of the year, we’ve put together a selection of fun family events going on in London. Experiencing Halloween in London is sure to be a memorable family trip that will no doubt be reminisced about for years to come.
Some of London’s best attractions are hosting celebrations and special events. Here’s our top picks for you perfect London Halloween 2012:
1. The London Dungeon: The Trickster
Already a highly interactive and somewhat chilling tourist attraction, The London Dungeon has taken the well-known Halloween game to a new level. The Trickster will be lurking around corners and surprising visitors in both pleasant and not-so-pleasant ways! Will you receive a trick or a treat?
2. The London Eye: Witch Academy
A special experience for children and parents alike, hop on the London Eye for spooky storytelling. As you slowly turn in the iconic wheel, your capsule will be filled with interactive spells and riddle solving – all hosted by the High Witch, Annabelle. Get your scariest clothes and your thinking caps on!
3. Royal Museums Greenwich: Witches and Warlocks
The historic Cutty Sark reopened this year and is holding a Halloween event which promises to be a fun-filled family day out in London. The ship will be transformed into a spooky playground with lots of events going on: children can take part in the fancy dress parade; make a freaky fancy dress accessory, sing-a-long to witches songs and much more.
