Children in Need takes place next Friday with an evening of entertainment on BBC1, as people from all over the country take part in a whole host of activities and events to raise money for disadvantaged children in the UK.
Children in Need Life President and long-standing host, Terry Wogan, will be joined by Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly and Nick Grimshaw to host a brilliant evening of music, comedy, special features and guest appearances. Gather your friends and family in your living room, wear something spotty and enjoy the entertainment.

There will be a whole range of entertainment; from Britain’s Olympic heroes dancing on stage and Strictly Come Dancing performances to an exclusive episode of ‘Doctor Who’.
You can expect performances from One Direction, Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis as well as the reunited Girls Aloud who will be performing the official Children in Need 2012 single, ‘Something New’.
Throughout the evening there will be feature films showing some of the crucial work the charity is doing to change the lives of children in the UK.
There are plenty of things you can do, at home or in the workplace, to take part and help this important and brilliant cause – whether it’s wearing something spotty, having a bake-off or hosting a charity football match in your local area.
At Flemings we will be playing games, showing our spots and raising money and awareness for Children in Need 2012. Let us know what you get up to on Twitter or Facebook!
