This Monday we had a special afternoon with Teens Unite, a fantastic charity who are dedicated to helping teenagers with life-limiting illnesses and continually provide teens and their families with remarkable support and happy experiences.

Brooke Kinsella joins the teens and their mums
We invited Teens Unite to come along to Flemings for Afternoon Tea to spend some quality time with their Mums and indulge in lots of yummy cakes and tea! The teens and their mums had a brilliant afternoon in one of our private rooms and we were honoured to have them. Brooke Kinsella MBE, anti-knife crime campaigner and actress, also visited and gave her valued support.

Teens Unite enjoy afternoon tea with their mums
One of the teens, Freya, wrote this lovely piece about her afternoon and we wanted to share it with you:
“Teens Unite, a charity very close to my heart contacted me recently and asked me if I would like to attend an Afternoon Tea with my mum the day after Mother’s Day. My mum has been my strength through my gruelling treatment so what a nice way to get to spend some time with her enjoying ourselves and spend some time with other young people who are all facing similar challenges.
My mum and I decided to make a day out of it and arrived in London before the afternoon tea started. When we made our way to Flemings Hotel we were truly in for a treat, the venue was breath-taking and the group we got to spend the afternoon with were a joy to be surrounded by.
When they tea arrived the food was amazing, and we even got to take home a little goody bag of left over homemade scones and sandwiches.
We both felt truly pampered and both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and decided that we could very easily get used to that lifestyle!!
We can’t thank Teens Unite enough for holding another of their amazing days and to Flemings Hotel for hosting the amazing tea!!”
