River Thames is the second longest river in the UK measuring approximately 215 miles long. The Thames is one of the most well known rivers in Britain due to passing through central London . The Thames makes a great photo opportunity with the beautiful city skyline as a backdrop. There are many ways to explore the River Thames and the locations near it from foot, bus, boat or sky car! Our two favourite ways are via boat and sky car.
Traveling by boat on the Thames London is a way to remove yourself from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can enjoy refreshments from the café / bar on board, comfortable spacious seating and great views of London’s iconic landmarks.
The Sky car is a great way to see a bird’s eye view of London. It is the first urban cable car in the UK; connecting the north of London, Emirates Royal Docks, to the south, Emirates Greenwich Peninsula. As you will be next to the O2 Arena you could make a truly fantastic outing by also seeing a show or concert before heading back.
Flemings Mayfair is only a short tube ride on the Jubilee line or a lovely walk to the Thames. South Bank which is located along the Thames also makes a great evening out with a selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. At the end of your day exploring the Thames you can retire to your luxury room at Flemings Mayfair, see our current offers here.
The Thames Clipper offers the Emirates sky car and Thames boat ride as a joint ticket package. This is a great way to experience both of these options at a competitive price. For more information please click here.
