Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park, an 11-day summer spectacular featuring an exciting programme of music and entertainment for all to enjoy. This Hyde Park summer time festival began at the end of last week and continues through this Sunday, 13 July 2014.
Already films have been shown, comedy acts had the crowds laughing and music bands including the likes of Arcade Fire, The Libertines, Black Sabbath and McBusted had the girls screaming and everyone dancing. It has been a great start to the British Summer Time Hyde Park 2014 festival, and there is still more to come!
This evening there is a free outdoor cinema showing of The Graduate. This will be a great event to attend with your friends and unwind in this beautiful Royal Park. If you are lucky enough to have entry to the ticketed events this weekend then you are in for a treat. With several cafes, bistros, food stalls, themed pubs and cocktail bars you have a wide choice of food and drink to choose from whilst you are being entertained. There are several acts on the line up for this weekend with Neil Young & Crazy Horse headlining Saturday and Tom Jones headlining Sunday.
If you haven’t booked any accommodation yet and are looking for somewhere to stay, then Flemings Mayfair is a great option being a quick 5 minute walk to Hyde Park. Staying in a hotel is your best option; just visualise heading back to your room after the concert to relax instead of being stuck in the crowds and back logs at the tube and train stations.
We want to wish you a great weekend from the Flemings Mayfair team.
