Flemings wins RHS Gold Medal

Our Gold Medal winning floral arrangement, inspired by the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Booby Birds and Flemings Pink Afternoon Tea, is the central feature in the Floral Design Marquee at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010. See the display and Flemings' florist Yan Skates filmed at the show for the BBC website.

Created by Yan, the 3.5 metre tiered silver cake stand is a pink feast of flowers arranged in domes to represent Flemings' legendary cupcakes. The selection of pink flowers include new varieties of hydrangea, Yan's new favourite rose "Keano" with a scent of boiled sweets, cottage garden favourites mixed with more exotic choices like Gloriosa lilies and Vanda orchids.
