Hotel near Park Lane
One of the most upmarket, famous roads in London, Park Lane is about three quarters of a mile in length and runs from Hyde Park Corner to Marble Arch along the eastern flank of the magnificent green expanse of Hyde Park. Famous for being the second most valuable piece of the Monopoly board, after Mayfair, Park Lane marks the western boundary of Mayfair.
From the eighteenth century onwards, Park Lane grew to be a fashionable residential address. Due to Park Lane's popularity with the wealthy it soon became filled with the largest privately owned mansions in London. Many of these magnificent properties can still be seen along the lane. Despite the noise from traffic, Park Lane is now home to many of London’s upmarket hotels. Park Lane is within walking distance from Flemings Mayfair and a Mayfair afternoon tea or picnic in one of the nearby London parks.
To get to Park Lane from Flemings Mayfair Hotel, walk West along Piccadilly to Hyde Park Corner.
