Short on ideas for entertaining experiences in London this November? Here are the special recommendations from our Concierge team for this month!
1. If you are in London in November, make sure to enjoy the top winter festivals taking place across the Capital. We recommend The Southbank Centre Festival which will illuminate any dark winter days with its sparkling program and seasonal treats. 2.
Mark your calendars on 9th November and enjoy the 804th edition of the
Lord Mayor’s Show running from Mansion House to the Royal Court. This parade of more than 6,000 people will entertain and surprise enthusiasts and bystanders with its dance troupes, marching bands, military detachments and much more.
3.
Go and see the exhibit “
TUTANKHAMUN: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh” that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. This is an unprecedented exhibition, since 150 authentic pieces from the tomb will be featured, including more than 60 travelling outside of Egypt for the first time. London is among the ten cities where the exhibition will be shown before the exceptional pieces are sent back to Egypt forever.
4. Stop by Hertford House on Manchester Square to admire the world-famous pieces of fine and decorative arts from the 15th to 19th centuries at the Wallace Collection.
5.
Discover one of London’s hidden gems and visit
Kenwood house, located in Hampstead Heath. There, you can enjoy the incredible library designed by Robert Adams and the art collection featured, including a Vermeer and a Rembrandt self-portrait, with passionate guides who will happily inform you of all the interesting facts about the house. You can also enjoy a quiet day in the gardens and cafes where you can take time to admire the landscaped park.
