The Burlington Arcade
A short walk from Flemings Mayfair, the Burlington Arcade is one of London’s prettiest shopping arcades.
Open in 1819 by Lord George Cavendish, Earl of Burlington, the arcade boasts 51 independent boutiques selling luxuries like hats, gloves and jewellery. Several boutiques are exclusive to the Arcade – like the Manolo Blahnik men’s shoe boutique, which is the only one in the world.
Fortnum and Mason
Almost directly across the Burlington Arcade, you will see the stunning Fortnum and Mason building. First founded in London’s Piccadilly in 1707, Fortnum and Mason have remained an essential destination for anyone in search of extraordinary food, exceptional service and joy-giving things ever since.
Every Christmas, the store puts on a wonderful display to delight passers-by and this year is no exception. Its façade represents a giant advent calendar once again and the theme is key moments from the store’s past, from the 1930s right up to 2020.
Piccadilly
An iconic street in London, Piccadilly offers a beautiful Christmas lights display every year. Do not miss the beautiful angels lining the street all the way up to Regent’s Street.
New Bond Street
Popular for retail since the 18th century, New Bond Street is home to some of the world’s most prestigious boutiques. It also boasts beautiful festive displays and a Christmas tree just outside the Cartier shop.
Cartier
Probably one of the most photographed shops this festive season, Cartier’s façade has once again been turned into a giant present wrapped in red ribbon and carefully watched over by the brand’s iconic panther.
