Hidden London is the London Transport Museum’s exclusive programme of tours and events exploring disused Underground stations and secret sites across London.

One of its most exclusive experiences takes visitors beneath Mayfair to Down Street, a former Underground station that operated from 1907 to 1932. During the Second World War, the station was transformed into a bomb-proof headquarters for the Railway Executive Committee and became a secret refuge for Prime Minister Winston Churchill during the Blitz.

Explore the network of narrow tunnels where Britain’s railways were coordinated during wartime and discover a hidden chapter of London’s history beneath the streets of Mayfair.

*Tours run at selected times throughout the year and are subject to availability.
